THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The vigilance director has ordered a fast verification in opposition to KPCC president Ok Sudhakaran based mostly on a grievance lodged by his former driver, Prasanth Babu.

He has alleged that Sudhakaran had indulged in monetary malpractices throughout the development of the District Congress Committee (DCC) workplace and purchased property disproportionate to his recognized sources of earnings.

Vigilance director DGP Sudesh Kumar ordered a probe into the costs and directed a vigilance workforce to submit a report quickly. The preliminary probe can be primarily to verify whether or not there may be any veracity within the grievance by Prasanth Babu and additional investigation can be determined based mostly on the preliminary report.

The grievance was lodged at a time when Sudhakaran and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had locked horns over previous incidents that occurred throughout their faculty days. The grievance identified that Sudhakaran had indulged in monetary malpractices in reference to the development of a DCC workplace at Kannur and misappropriation of funds from Ok Karunakaran belief.
