The villagers are frightened to see the rise within the water stage of the river as a result of incessant rains on the hills of Nepal. After which the water stage of the massive Gandak river is rising repeatedly. Villagers are dealing with lot of issues as a result of water logging of their homes. All sorts of preparations are being offered by the district administration to assist the villages affected by the floods. People are being evacuated with the assistance of boats. Most of the homes and roads, together with the police publish in Shivpur village, have been flooded with water. The highway connecting the villages has been submerged. Along with this, the roads resulting in Sohgibarwa are submerged. Three villages of Marichawa and Basantpur village are utterly affected.
