Undertrial prisoner found hanging in washroom of Sambalpur jail

Sambalpur: An undertrial prisoner was found hanging in washroom of Sambalpur circle jail as we converse morning.

The deceased has been acknowledged as Dharanidhar Mahananda, a resident of Sindurpankh house of Sambalpur.

Report says, Dharanidhar was arrested in a family dispute case and lodged inside the jail, yesterday. Some completely different prisoners observed him hanging with a towel inside the washroom of the jail and educated the authorities of the jail.

He was immediately rescued and admitted to Burla medical, nevertheless the docs declared him ineffective.

Later, the Sambalpur police started an investigation into the incident.
