JAJPUR: Three authorities faculty lecturers in Odisha’s Jajpur district have been positioned underneath suspension for submitting pretend lecturers eligibility check certificates, an official mentioned.

Barachana Block Education Officer (BEO) Harihar Dalei has positioned the three lecturers – Aniya Kumar Baral of Teligada main faculty, Jayanti Sahoo of Akarabad main faculty and Raziya Sultana of Charinangal main faculty – underneath suspension for submitting pretend Odisha Eligibility Teachers Test (OTET) certificates to get jobs and increments.

“The three lecturers have been positioned underneath suspension following the pending of departmental proceedings towards them for submission of faux OTET certificates,” an official order of the BEO workplace mentioned on Friday.

The District Education Officer (DEO) Ranjan Kumar Giri mentioned that they’ve filed FIRs towards the accused lecturers with Barachana police station for authorized motion.

“We have stopped their wage and began departmental proceedings towards them as per the federal government rule,” he mentioned.
