Tanur custodial demise: Victim’s household welcomes CBI probe announcement

MALAPPURAM: Family members of Thamir Jiffri, 30, who died within the custody of Tanur police, on Thursday welcomed the state authorities’s choice to switch the probe to the CBI. The company will quickly purchase the case’s paperwork from the police.
