Seven UDF MLAs booked beneath non-bailable sections for Kerala meeting ruckus

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Museum police have registered instances towards the LDF and UDF MLAs in reference to the pandemonium within the meeting on Wednesday. Seven UDF members had been booked beneath non-bailable sections based mostly on the criticism filed by the injured Watch and Ward workers.

As many as seven Watch and Ward workers, together with 5 ladies, had sustained accidents within the affray. MLAs Roji M John, Uma Thomas, Ok Ok Rema, P Ok Basheer, Anwar Sadath, I C Balakrishnan and Anoop Jacob had been charged with assaulting authorities officers on responsibility, making threats, gang assaults and so on.

Meanwhile, two members of the ruling entrance, LDF’s H Salam, Ok M Sachin Dev and a deputy chief marshal of the Watch and Ward workers had been booked beneath bailable sections for allegedly attacking the UDF MLAs.

The meeting witnessed dramatic occasions after the opposition MLAs held a protest in entrance of the Speaker’s workplace. The UDF MLAs had alleged that they had been manhandled by the LDF MLAs and marshals of the Watch and Ward, whereas the Watch and Ward workers accused the opposition MLAs of attacking them.
