Rath Yatra 2023: Several individuals have been reportedly injured through the pulling of Taladhwaja rath of Marichikote Chhak in Puri.

The injured have been admitted to Puri District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). There was an enormous crowd whereas pulling the chariot of Balabhadra when the untoward incident happened.

Lord Balabhadra sits atop the Taladhwaja chariot. Taladhwaja is the second-largest chariot among the many three used within the Rath Yatra procession. It is constructed utilizing wooden and stands at a peak of round 44 toes. The chariot has 16 wheels and is embellished with colourful motifs and designs.
