Plus-One supplementary allotment at this time; 68,000 functions for 45,000 seats

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The first supplementary allotment checklist for the Higher Secondary Plus-I seats might be revealed on Thursday. A complete of 67,596 candidates have been thought-about for allotment to 45,394 vacant Plus-I seats throughout the state. 

According to the Directorate of General Education, 68,739 functions have been acquired. Of them, 1,143 have been rejected. Of the functions rejected, 194 have been of scholars who had already acquired admission below varied quotas and the remaining 949 functions didn’t have choices correctly chosen or have been thought-about invalid as a consequence of different causes.

For the supplementary allotment, the present vacancies have been divided into varied class seats after contemplating every district as a unit. The admissions to the seats allotted might be held from 10 AM on July 13 to 4 PM on July 14.

The college students are suggested to report on the faculty allotted with the certificates prescribed in a round issued by the DGE’s workplace on May 31. Students who have gotten seats in supplementary allotment should remit charges and take everlasting admission within the respective colleges. 

General Education Minister V Sivankutty had earlier said that the admission/emptiness standing of Plus-I seats in districts going through seat shortages might be examined after the supplementary allotment for admissions. Districts comparable to Malappuram and Palakkad had reported seat vacancies. More batches could possibly be allotted in aided colleges, if wanted, to deal with potential shortages, the minister had assured.
