Puri: The well-known Lord Jagannath temple of Puri in Odisha will probably be shut for devotees on every Saturdays and Sunday as per the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) of Srimandira.
Odisha authorities yesterday issued the rule of thumb for the month of September within the wake of Corona pandemic in line with which the weekend shutdown was lifted from Puri, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
Hence, now guests can journey to Puri, keep in lodges and motels, can take tub within the sea and luxuriate in different providers out there within the holy city. However, the devotees is not going to be allowed into Srimandira for paying obeisance. Rather these two days will probably be used for the sanitization of the temple within the wake of Corona pandemic. This is as per the SOP of Srimandira.
