Bhubaneswar: If all the pieces goes nicely as per plans, the Class-I college students in government-run colleges in Odisha will be taught English from the subsequent tutorial session.
The School and Mass Education division has mulled to introduce the brand new topic for the class-I college students. However, the course might be launched within the centre of excellence colleges in preliminary part, knowledgeable School and Mass Education Minister Sameer Ranjan Dash.
“As per the decision of the Chief Minister, we are going to introduce English course in class-I in all centre of excellence schools from the next academic year,” Dash mentioned on the sidelines of a teachers-parents assembly at Rourkela.
At current, youngsters research English as a topic from Class III after it was launched within the curriculum of Government colleges.

While talking on the parents-teachers assembly, the Minister mentioned “We have plans for four such similar meetings in a bid to enhance the quality of education in government schools. All measures are being taken to make all the government schools at par with the private public schools,” he mentioned including college students will compete to get admission within the authorities colleges in future.
