Odisha CM will increase annual grant of WODC to Rs 200 crore

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday doubled the annual grant to the Western Odisha Development Council (WODC). Besides, the CM directed to arrange places of work on the Council in 10 districts.
The CM made the announcement whereas reviewing the functioning of WODC by way of video conferencing.
The annual price range of WODC was Rs 3 crore in 1999-2000 which was subsequently elevated to Rs 100 crore. The annual price range will likely be Rs 200 crore after at the moment’s announcement by the Chief Minister.
