Moderate depth earthquake hits Odisha’s Nayagarh district

BHUBANESWAR: An earthquake of reasonable depth hit Daspalla city in Odisha’s Nayagarh district on Friday, officers stated.

Sources in Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) workplace stated the earthquake was of three.5 magnitude quake.

The National Centre of Seismology stated the epicentre of the three.5 magnitude was at a depth of 10 kilometre in Ganjam district and was felt at 11.19 am.

There was additionally no report of any lack of life or injury to property, a district official stated.

Last month, a reasonable earthquake of three.5 magnitude had hit Kalahandi and Nabarangpur districts of Odisha.
