Maoists launch kidnapped CRPF CoBRA jawan Rakeshwar Singh in Chhattisgarh

Chhattisgarh: The CoBRA jawan Rakeshwar Singh Manhas, who had been held hostage by the Maoists for 5 days, has been launched. He has been dropped at the CRPF camp in Bijapur following his launch by the crimson rebels.
Rakeshwar Singh Manhas is a constable of the 210th CoBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action), an elite wing of the CRPF.

It is to be famous that Manhas had gone lacking throughout the fierce gun battle with over 300 PLGAs ultras in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district wherein 22 safety personnel had been killed and 31 had been injured. Over 1,000 safety personnel of the CRPF and Chhattisgarh’s District Reserve Guard (DRG) and Special Task Force (STF) took half within the operation. The gun battle came about on Saturday midday close to Tekulgudem village underneath Tarrem police station.
