Letter threatening assault on PM Modi retains Kerala police on their toes

KOCHI:  A letter obtained on the BJP state committee office threatening a suicide bomb assault on Prime Minister Narendra Modi all through his go to to the state, on April 24-25, saved the police on their toes on Saturday. The letter reportedly written in Malayalam, was issued throughout the title of N J Johny, of Kaloor, Kochi. His title is talked about as Joseph John throughout the letter. 

Johny talked about the police contacted him 4 days previously and recorded his assertion. As the handwriting was not a match, the cops launched an in depth probe into the incident.  “I have given the police all the details. They crosschecked the handwriting and were convinced. Somebody who holds a grudge against me may have been behind the letter. I have shared the name of a person whom I suspect,” he instructed reporters in Kochi. 

Family members talked about they assume a fellow churchgoer, from the similar locality, who had variations of opinion with Johny. “My father is the secretary of the church unit and had some factors with one different particular person throughout the locality last week. That particular person had threatened to point out us a lesson.

We suspect he is behind the incident. Anyway, we’ll battle it legally,” Johny’s daughter talked about. The letter was obtained on the office of BJP state president Okay Surendran, who in flip handed it over to the police last week.
