KOZHIKODE: LDF leaders, who lashed out on the BJP, turned the main target of consideration on the tenth Mujahid convention, inflicting an enormous embarrassment to the organisers. Addressing the convention on Friday, CPM chief John Brittas, MP, requested the leaders of the Kerala Nadvathul Mujahideen (KNM) whether or not they assume they’ll usher in a change within the ideology of the RSS by partaking the organisation in debates.

Turning in direction of the Mujahid leaders on the stage, Brittas mentioned he desires them to reply loudly. “You have accommodated the RSS, but do you think they (RSS) will show the large-heartedness to accommodate you,” he requested the leaders.

Addressing one other session of the convention, Industries Minister P Rajeeve selected to disagree with Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai, who had informed the meet that the BJP authorities didn’t do any hurt to Muslims knowingly. “There is not a single Muslim MP or minister in the Union ministry,” the minister mentioned.

Rajeeve mentioned the BJP is raking up points that had been settled on the time of the discussions within the constituent meeting. “The issue of giving citizenship based on religion was rejected at the time of framing the Constitution. But the BJP is raising the issue again,” he mentioned.

CPI chief Binoy Viswom, who addressed the gathering shortly after Pillai’s tackle on Thursday, was categorical in dismissing the Goa governor’s claims that BJP didn’t do any hurt to the minorities. “What Pillai presented here is not the real ideology of the RSS-BJP. There is a book called ‘Bunch of Thoughts’ by Golwalkar, who is the Guru of people including Pillai, Modi and Amit Shah,” he mentioned.

Viswom added that the e book mentioned that if the minorities are able to imbibe Indian faith, they’ll reside right here freely, if not they are going to be like foreigners devoid of voting rights. “I request Pillai to make clear what is his stand on this position of the RSS,” he mentioned.

Voices had been raised on the social media in opposition to the invitation prolonged to the BJP leaders on the convention within the present political context. That turned louder after KNM secretary Abdul Majeed Swalahi gave an interview to the ‘Janam TV’. Left leaders are consciously concentrating on the BJP and Pillai sensing the temper of the group and their speeches are getting heat welcome on the social media.
