Kerala State Women’s Commission defends chairperson in ‘scolding case’

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala State Women’s Commission on Sunday dismissed the allegation that its chairperson MC Josephine had scolded a person for enquiring in regards to the criticism filed by his 89-year-old relative.

In an announcement, the Commission Public Relations Officer stated the intention behind Josephine’s comment was that she wished to know whether or not the particular person, who had positioned the decision, had introduced the matter to the eye of the ‘jagrata samitis’.

The assertion stated 89-year-old Lakshmikutty Amma had filed a criticism with the Commission on  March 10, 2020.
