Kerala: Man detained by folks for ‘stealing’ utensils dies

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  A 50-year-old who was detained by native residents after he allegedly stole kitchen utensils from a home at Perunguzhi close to Chirayinkeezhu died on Friday whereas below therapy on the medical faculty hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Chandran’s members of the family have alleged that native residents beat him up earlier than handing him over to the Chirayinkeezhu police.
