Kerala Assembly ruckus: Chennithala writes to CM Pinarayi Vijayan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Opposition chief Ramesh Chennithala has written to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan requesting him to nominate a Special Public Prosecutor within the meeting ruckus case, underneath Section 24 (8) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. 

Chennithala has been combating relentlessly over the previous 4 years saying that the ruckus case shouldn’t be quashed. He had filed a caveat within the Supreme Court which demanded that the six CPM leaders ought to face trial. 

Chennithala highlighted within the letter that there isn’t any ample proof in help of the prosecution case and likewise there may be lack of identification of individuals concerned within the wanton acts of destruction of public property contained in the legislative meeting. Also, the prosecution took a plea that there are distant possibilities of success within the case.
