Jajpur Dist Admn says no to well-known Baruni Mela this 12 months as a consequence of Covid surge

Jajpur: The well-known Baruni Mela of Jajpur district will has been banned for this 12 months within the wake of Covid 19 surge. Also, the holy dip by the devotees has been restricted.
As per reviews, the well-known pageant was scheduled to be held on April 9. However, due the restrictions imposed by the State authorities within the wake of surge of Covid 19 circumstances within the state, the pageant won’t be held. Jajpur District administration has imposed restrictions on the mela and holy dip. District Collector Chakravarti Singh Rathore, Jajpur intimated it right this moment at a presser on Monday.
