Injured bear climbs atop tree in Malkangiri district of Odisha

Malkangiri: Fearing people, an injured sloth bear climbed a tree and stayed on prime in MV-20 village of Malkangiri district on Wednesday.
According to experiences, the sloth bear was noticed roaming within the village when two arrows hit the bear. Following which the bear bought injured and climbed the bear fearing the villagers.
The native villagers noticed the injured the bear and knowledgeable the forest officers.
On being knowledgeable, the forest officers reached the spot and are attempting to rescue the bear, informs Malkangiri ranger Jagannath Bisyoi.
