IMPaCT Distributes Laptops, Wheelchairs To Meritorious Divyang Students | OTV News

Bhubaneswar: IMPaCT (Indian Metals Public Charitable Trust), the charitable wing of IMFA Ltd in collaboration with Swabhiman, organised ‘Standing Wheelchair and Laptop Distribution Programme’ at its AGM workplace in Bomikhal space of Bhubaneswar on Thursday.
More than 15 individuals with disabilities, who’ve earned fame within the subject of schooling, sports activities and social service, got standing wheelchairs and laptops on the event.
Attending the occasion, State Commission for Persons with Disabilities Odisha chairperson Sulochana Das praised the initiative of IMPaCT and Swabhiman.
IMPaCT has been distributing scholarship to disabled college students for the final 10 years. IMPaCT Trustee Paramita Panda and Swabhiman founder Sruti Mohapatra have been current on the occasion.
“My heartfelt thanks to IMPaCT and Swabhiman for extending help to disabled persons, including students who are trying to excel in various fields,” mentioned Sulochana Das.
“I thank Sruti Mohapatra and Sulochana Das for gracing this occasion. This has enabled us to give back to the society even if in a very small measure. It was a delight to see the standing wheelchair operational and the smile on the face of the persons who got it,” mentioned IMPaCT Trustee Paramita Panda.
“During Covid-19 pandemic students faced major difficulties in study but many like Paramita Panda came forward and distributed laptops and other supportive devices which helped them showcase their talent,” mentioned Swabhiman founder, Sruti Mohapatra.
