IBM publicizes Innovation Centre in Kochi; to create 2,000 jobs

KOCHI: US tech big IBM will arrange an Innovation Centre in Kochi in shut collaboration with the Kerala authorities’s industries and better schooling division.

As per the plan, the Innovation Centre, which is developing at Infopark in Kakkanad, will create round 2,000 new jobs. As part of the initiative, officers from IBM visited and held discussions with the Industries Minister P Rajeeve and Higher Education Minister R Bindu in Thiruvananthapuram. “The state government will provide all possible backing to the initiatives that will bring job opportunities here,” mentioned Rajeeve.

Higher Education Minister Bindu, who met the IBM officers individually, prompt additional talks with officers of the ASAP (Additional Skill Acquisition Programme) and the ‘mind acquire’ programme below the Kerala State Higher Education Council.
