Elderly man dies after pet canine chunk results in rabies an infection

THRISSUR: An aged man who suffered a chunk from his pet canine and was present process therapy at Thrissur Government Medical College died following rabies an infection on Thursday. 

Puthukkattil Unnikrishnan, 60, a local of Kaipamangalam in Thrissur died on Thursday night.

Unnikrishnan suffered a chunk from his pet canine about three months again. The canine was adopted from the road and was not administered the vaccination in opposition to rabies an infection.

Despite struggling the canine chunk, Unnikrishnan didn’t seek the advice of a physician or take the vaccination. After some days of incident the canine died following which Unnikrishnan began displaying signs of discomfort whereas consuming water. He was then taken to Irinjalakuda General Hospital and later shifted to the medical faculty. 

Upon lab examination, it was discovered that Unnikrishnan had rabies an infection. The situation bought worsened on Thursday following which he breathed his final.
