Drunk man beats up aged mother and father to demise in Kerala’s Thrissur

THRISSUR: A drunk man killed his aged mother and father by hitting them on the top with an iron rod in Avinissery, a village in Thrissur district on Tuesday night. Pradeep, 45, had an altercation with them and in a match of rage killed them. 

Karuthedath Ramakrishnan, 75, died on Tuesday itself whereas his spouse Thankamani, 70, succumbed to the accidents on Wednesday morning.

Pradeep was arrested after the residents within the space overpowered him and handed him to the police later within the night time.

According to the police, Pradeep was an alcoholic who used to struggle together with his household every single day.

Fed up with this, Pradeep’s spouse together with their kids left him after he began assaulting them.

On the day of the incident, Pradeep quarreled together with his mother and father which ended up within the killing. Following the loud screams, neighbours rushed to their place and rushed the aged couple to a hospital close by, however could not save their lives.
