COVID vaccination camp begins for tribals of hilltop villages in Odisha’s Jajpur district

JAJPUR: A COVID vaccination drive has begun in Nagada village of Odisha’s Jajpur district after stories round a fortnight in the past that many tribals had been affected by fever within the backward hilltop villages that had hogged headlines for a collection of kid malnutrition deaths in 2016.

Around 63 households comprising 320 folks belonging to the Juanga tribe reside within the three hamlets. Juanga is among the 13 significantly susceptible tribal teams within the state.
