CM Patnaik to press particular class state for Odisha at NITI meet

BHUBANESWAR: The demand for particular class state (SCS) standing for Odisha appears to be again on the agenda of the ruling BJD. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik instructed media individuals in New Delhi that he’ll elevate the problem once more on the assembly of the governing council of the NITI Aayog on Sunday. “I will raise the long-standing demand for SCS status to Odisha which faces frequent calamities like cyclones and floods. Other demands of the State will also be raised,” he stated.
