Rajya Sabha Biennial Election-2022: Two Rajya Sabha members will likely be elected from Chhattisgarh

Notification has been issued by the Election Commission of India at the moment for the election of two Rajya Sabha members to be vacant in Chhattisgarh beneath the Rajya Sabha Biennial Election-2022.
It is noteworthy that the tenure of two Rajya Sabha members, Shri Ramvichar Netam and Smt. Chhaya Verma, goes to finish on June 29, 2022, out of the entire 5 seats within the Rajya Sabha for the state of Chhattisgarh. Notification has been issued by the Election Commission of India on 24 May 2022 for the Rajya Sabha elections for these two seats to be vacant of the Rajya Sabha.
According to the Rajya Sabha biennial schedule launched by the Election Commission of India, New Delhi, the final date for submitting nominations by the candidates has been mounted on May 31 (Tuesday). Scrutiny of nomination papers will likely be held on Wednesday, June 01. The final date for withdrawal of names by the candidates has been mounted on Friday, 03 June. Voting has been scheduled from 9 am to 4.30 pm on Friday, June 10. Counting of votes will happen on June 10 from 5 pm.
According to the notification issued for the election of Rajya Sabha members, nomination papers could be offered to the Returning Officer Secretary within the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha from 11 am to three pm (besides on public holidays) until thirty first May.
It is noteworthy that for the biennial election to the Rajya Sabha, out of 90 members of the state meeting, 71 of the Indian National Congress, 14 of the Bharatiya Janata Party, 3 of the Janata Congress Chhattisgarh (J) and a pair of members of the Bahujan Samaj Party train their franchise. Will be completed. Voting will likely be by way of poll papers.
