Oil painting of great personalities of the country unveiled in Central Hall of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly

The oil paintings of great personalities Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Shrimati Indira Gandhi and Shri Rajiv Gandhi were ceremonially unveiled in the Central Hall of Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Assembly Speaker Shri Charan Das Mahant, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, Leader of Opposition Shri Dharamlal Kaushik, Ministers and MLAs participated in the program organized after the completion of one year of formation of new government and assembly proceedings in the state.

    In the program organized at the Central Hall, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant said that by putting a picture of the great personalities of the country here, we will get continuous inspiration from their works and principles. At the same time, the glorious tradition of the assembly will be further enriched. This hall will be used for MLAs, former MLAs and senior media personnel and for various events similar to the Central Hall of the Lok Sabha. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel congratulated and congratulated all the MLAs on completion of one year of the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly during the tenure of the Government. He said that the government will fulfill whatever suggestion and consensus will be made to bring the Central Hall alive.
