Maximum 3809 patients received in a single day, 17 deaths; Lockdown in Durg from 20 to 30 September

On Thursday, the number of Kareena victims in Chhattisgarh has crossed 77 thousand. For the first time, 3809 new patients have been found in the state. This includes 1109 cases of Raipur, the highest ever. Meanwhile 5226 patients have been discharged. So far, 31111 people have recovered after treatment. 17 patients died in different districts of the state including eight in Raipur. With this, 629 patients have died in the state from Corona and 296 in Raipur. With the new patients, the number of patients in Raipur has increased to 25447, while the active cases are 36036. The lockdown has been imposed in Durg district from 20 to 30 September. According to the health department records, 25921 samples were examined in the last 24 hours. So far, 8.5 lakh samples have been investigated.
In almost every district of the state including the capital, the infection of corona is increasing continuously. So far, the number of positive patients has crossed 3000 in four times a day. While on an average 800 to 900 patients are getting daily in the capital. Along with the slums and old mohallas, new patients are being found continuously in Mantralaya, Devendranagar, Shankar Nagar, Avanti Vihar, Sundernagar, Amalidih and Kukurbeda areas. Among them, patients were found in Kukurbeda after a long time and 12 new infected people have been identified here. Raipur is running at the top in terms of patients. It is followed by the fortification number. More than 7000 patients have been found in the fort. Number three is Rajnandgaon, where there are more than 6000 patients. Dr. Dutt said that after Corona, all the staff including the doctor will be given quarantine for 5 days to a week. Order will be issued soon in this regard. Significantly, on Wednesday, Ambedkar’s nurses demonstrated and submitted a memorandum to DME Dr Dutt demanding quarantine. The nurses have been asked to stay in Quarantine for a week. Medical students are upset due to different rules in the same hospital.

Regarding this, the intern students met Dr. Vishnu Dutt, Dean of the Medical College, and said that he has finished duty on Wednesday. Nodal officers are asking to do duty in the general ward from Thursday. Whereas a week of quarantine is necessary.
