Instructions to make arrangements for the temporary vegetable market in National Highway Geedam Road in Mission Compound Groud

Collector Shri Rajat Bansal and Superintendent of Police Shri Deepak Jha arrived on Wednesday 26th August from Jagdalpur city to take stock of the arrangement of temporary vegetable markets. The two officials first took stock of the arrangement of a temporary wholesale market in the Old Mandi campus. Here he discussed with the traders in which he told the traders about their problems. The collector said that the small traders would not have to face any kind of chaos, instructed to fix the arrangements in the premises and to remove the problems pointed out by other traders in a week. The Collector instructed the Corporation Commissioner to improve the parking lot system. After this, Collector Shri Bansal inspected the Maharani Hospital and gave necessary instructions regarding health facilities.

    The Collector and the Superintendent of Police discussed with the traders and representatives of the Chambers of Commerce at Sanjay Market, the main market place of the city, where the traders informed the collector about the problems of warehousing, parking and other problems. At the same time, the traders convinced the collector that due to the corona infection, the small families would not be allowed to sit in the Sanjay market. Following the social distancing, we will operate the market systematically and will meet in the next 15 days to discuss it. Collector Mr. Bansal has assured to solve their problems. In addition, they market Inspected the temporary vegetable market in Gidam Road. The Collector and Superintendent of Police directed the Corporation Commissioner to temporarily set up a vegetable market at the Mishn Compound Ground, so as not to harm the life and property of the retail vegetable traders and buyers being installed on the National Highway Geedam Road. During this, Additional Collector Shri Arvind Ekka, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Shri Premkumar Patel, SDM Jagdalpur Shri Praveen Verma and other officials were present.
