Public Relations Commissioner Mr. Taran Prakash Sinha while addressing the district public relations officers through online conferencing today said that the role of public relations officers is very important in providing accurate and authentic information to the public during the Corona epidemic. During the Corona crisis and the lockdown, public relations officers have discharged their duties in a spirit of service. When bus and rail traffic in the country and the state were all closed, but even then the flow of information in Chhattisgarh was not stopped. The Commissioner praised the Public Relations Officers for their well-being and duty-of-duty. He said that the crisis is not yet averted, we have to discharge our responsibility to the society and the public by taking necessary precautions.

New and modern techniques of information and communication were started by the Public Relations Department during the Corona crisis. During the lockdown, an online press conference of the Chief Minister and Ministers was introduced to provide information about prevention, public health safety and relief measures of Kovid-19. In this episode, the Public Relations Commissioner addressed the Public Relations Officers through online conferencing today.
Commissioner Mr. Sinha said that extensive arrangements have been made by the state government to deal with the Corona crisis. In the district, the plains are engaged day and night in the construction of Amla Quarantine Center and its management and operation. Our doctors and health workers are constantly treating the victims. He said that social and digital media along with print and electronic media should be used more and more to reach out to the general public for the good work being done by the government and government staff. He said that no misleading news should be spread regarding public health safety, so keep an eye on the rumors and immediately inform the district administration and higher officials. Shri Sinha said that by providing quick information with the right facts, we can prevent the spread of rumor and misleading information.
At the meeting, instructions were given to spread information about the control, relief system and arrangements made in Quarantine Center in public interest in the public interest. Along with the flagship schemes of the state government, instructions were issued to release success stories based on Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme, collection of minor forest produce, sale of forest produce, Public Service Guarantee Act etc. With the advent of the monsoon, instructions were issued to continuously release news based on information related to the preparation of farming, harvesting of chemical fertilizers and seeds in the rural areas and offtake by the farmers.
