Chief Secretary Mandal tasted the food being given to the Corona infected, visited Raipur hospitals and asked to prepare for the future

Raipur: On Saturday, throughout the day, the Chief Secretary of the state RP Mandal held meetings regarding Kovid infection and made visits to hospitals. He also inquired about the food being given to the infected. Arriving at the Kovid Center in the Ayurvedic College and the Indoor Stadium, he reviewed the situation here. He also took stock of the food being given to the patients with the collector. Chief Secretary RP Mandal tasted the food himself. Took a meeting on the subject of control and prevention at the State Command and Control Center in New Circuit House. He then toured the city with the Collector, SSP, National Health Mission and Health Department officials, Municipal Corporation Commissioner, Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat.

The officials emphasized on how to deal with the situation when the patients grow more.

Talking to the media, the Chief Secretary said that at present, lockdown is not being considered in Raipur or the state. He said that because the investigation has been increased, the number of infected people seems to be increasing. Although it is lower than the national average. He said that it would be easy to stop the infection if the infection came out in the investigation. The government is also considering to increase the Kovid Center. He insisted on taking as many tests as possible. Also asked to provide oxygen facilities for severely affected Kovid patients. Mandal claimed that the corona test in Raipur district has been increased from one thousand to 14 thousand.
