Chief Minister Mr. Bhupes Baghel Gave Big Relief To Officers And Employees

Annual increment will be received on the due date only: Arrears of increment will be received after six months

CM Shri Bhupesh Baghel has given great relief to the officers and employees of the state government. Due to Corona crisis, the annual increment of state government officials and employees was delayed, which the Chief Minister has given instructions to restore. The Chief Minister has said that the officers and employees of the State Government, who get the increment on July 1. They will get increment only on July 1, but arrears of increment from July to December will be paid in lump sum in the coming January. Similarly, the officers and employees whose salary is increased on January 1, they will get increment only on January 1 and their arrears amount will be paid after six months in the month of July. 
    It is noteworthy that in view of the financial arrangements of the state during the Corona crisis, the annual increment of officer-employees was delayed by the Finance Department till further orders. The delegation of Chhattisgarh Employees-Federation Federation met Chief Minister Mr. Baghel at his residence office here today, courtesy the leadership of Provincial Convenor Mr. Kamal Verma and urged him to give increment to the officer-employees on the due date. Considering this demand of the employees’ organizations, the Chief Minister has given his consent to give the increment on the due date and pay its arrears amount after six months. Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department Shri Amitabh Jain was present on the occasion.
