Chief Minister Mr. Baghel salutes him on the 151st birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has paid homage to the Father of the Nation on October 02, on the occasion of 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. He has said that we have started Suraji Gaon Yojana to fulfill the goal of Gram Swaraj following the path shown by Gandhiji and are working to develop Narva, Garuva, Ghurwa, Bari in a new form. Under Suraji village scheme, we have set a target of making Gouthan in about 11 thousand panchayats. Of these, about 5 thousand 400 Gothans have been built. We are developing these Gothanas as livelihood centers. With the Chief Minister’s Nutrition Scheme and Universal PDS, we have decided that no hungry stomach should be forced to sleep nor be deprived of nutritious diet. We have declared a decisive battle against malnutrition which will follow the path of Gandhian Satyagraha. Gandhiji conducted many experiments for the good health of all, so we have given priority to universal healthcare. We will reach the last person in Chhattisgarh through Mukhyamantri Haat Bazaar Clinic Scheme, Mukhyamantri Urban Slum Health Scheme. Karuna of Mahatma Gandhi is the prime minister of the Chhattisgarh government. Gandhiji’s arrival in Chhattisgarh filled all the citizens including women, students, sanitation workers with renewed vigor and energy of patriotism and brought about the truth-non-violence, harmony and communal harmony in the state. Mr. Baghel said that together we will move towards realizing Gandhiji’s dream and follow the footsteps of him to form a ‘new Chhattisgarh’.
