Chhattisgarh Government is creating Nava Chhattisgarh with social harmony

Urban Administration and Labour Minister Dr Shivkumar Dahariya today attended the bhumipujan programme in Aarang today. On the occasion, he did bhumipujan of development works worth nearly Rs 18 crore. This includes Gaurav Path construction work worth Rs 17 crore 59 lakh and Government Girls Higher Secondary School’s Laboratory building construction work worth nearly Rs 15 lakh.

In his address to the bhumipujan ceremony, Dr Daharia said that State Government is consistently working towards development of Nava Chhattisgarh with social harmony. Chief Minister has taken into consideration sentiments of all the communities and sections of society, and declared holiday on Hareli, Teeja and Mata Karma Jayanti. People have expressed joy on this decision of Chhattisgarh Government to preserve the indigenous culture of Chhattisgarh. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, State Government has taken the decision to provide reservation in proportion to the population i.e. 13% for Scheduled Caste, 27% to Other Backward Classes and 32% to Scheduled Tribe and 10% to poor families of general category. In this way, Chhattisgarh has become the first state of the country to provide 82% reservation. The programme was attended by Municipal Council Chairperson Mrs. Karuna Tiwari, Coporators namely Mr. Mangalmoorti Agrawal, Mr. Devnath Sahu, Mr. Rekhraj Patre, Mr. Chandrashekhar Sahu, Mr. Manish Chandrakar, Mr. Bharat Lodhi, Mr. Ganesh Bandhe, Mr. Abdul Gauri, Mr. Gaurav Chandrakar, Mr. Anil Gupta and a large number of citizens.
