Chhattisgarh becomes first state to provide electricity related service through mobile app

In Chhattisgarh, consumers will no longer have to go to the power office for complaints ranging from power shutdown to bill disturbances. The state government electricity distribution company (CSPDCL) has launched a mobile app for this. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday launched new features of this ‘More Electricity’ app in his residence office. The facilities available on this app are free. On this occasion, Chief Minister Baghel said that Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country where electricity distribution company is providing service to its consumers at home. CM appreciated this effort of CSPDCL for this. He said that electricity consumers can avail more than 90 percent of the company’s services at home through this app. This will save labor, time and money. The company’s field team will also be easy to work with. Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya, School Education Minister Dr. Premasai Singh Tekam, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister and Chairman of Power Companies, Subrata Sahu, MD Harsh Gautam, Rajesh Verma, MK Bijaura, Ujjawala Baghel and other officials were present in the program.
