8-member committee appointed for advertisement rules of web news portals in Chhattisgarh

The state government has constituted an 8-member committee in relation to advertising to news portals, who will decide on what basis the advertisement should be given to the news website and web portal. This decision has been taken under paragraph 31 of the Advertising Rules 2019. The members of the committee will give suggestions regarding amendments, deliberations and changes in the advertisement to the government. For this, a month’s time has been given to the committee.
The government can tighten the rules of advertising.
