Bird flu: Duck farmers to get monetary help

ALAPPUZHA: The state authorities will present a financial aid subsequent week to duck farmers who’ve suffered losses as a result of unfold of avian influenza in Kuttanad. The chicken flu was reported in 4 centres in Kuttanad and Karthikappally taluks within the first week of January. The district administration had declared the taluks as chicken flu-affected.
