Attack Attempt On OPCC President In Odisha’s Keonjhar – ODISHA BYTES

Keonjhar: Some unidentified individuals attacked the automobile of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Niranjan Patnaik whereas he had gone to Keonjhar on a go to on Sunday night.
According to sources, whereas Patnaik was on his approach, some miscreants stopped his automobiles at Kashipur underneath Keonjhar Town police limits. The miscreants, who have been in an inebriated situation, assaulted Patnaik’s driver. When the Congress chief’s private safety officer (PSO) tried to rescue the motive force, the attackers thrashed him additionally.
As the assailants have been going to assault Patnaik, some locals and Congress staff rushed to the spot. The miscreants fled the spot with out inflicting any hurt to the OPCC president, the sources stated.
Later, Patnaik’s safety personnel lodged an FIR on the Town police station in his presence. On the idea of the criticism, the police have registered a case. Further investigation is on.
