Armed miscreants loot jewellery worth over Rs 12 Crore from gold showroom in Jajpur

Jajpur: Armed and masked miscreants reportedly looted jewellery worth over Rs 12 Crore from showroom in Odisha’s Jajpur districts this afternoon.

As many as seven miscreants reportedly reached the Senco Gold & Diamonds positioned at Vyasanagar in Jajpur Road. Two of them entered the showroom posing as shoppers. Later, they made phone calls to their employees members following which three others entered the jewellery showroom whereas two others had been standing open air.

All of a sudden, they attacked the protection guard and snatched his gun and threatened the employees with their weapons and looted the gold ornaments between 1.45 PM to 2.13 PM.

The theft from the showroom, which is positioned above the Hero bike showroom and reverse a petroleum pump, has left everyone stunned as a result of it occurred not solely in broad daylight however moreover from certainly one of many populated areas of town.
