DHENKANAL: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday condemned the alleged bomb assault on the residence of Dhenkanal municipality chairperson Jayanti Patra. In a sequence of tweets, Pradhan stated he has spoken to the Director General of Police, Odisha concerning the string of assaults on Jayanti’s home. He additionally urged Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik to make sure strict motion towards the miscreants.

Pradhan expressed concern over the brazenness of the assaults on Patra and stated the voice of BJP leaders won’t be silenced with such acts of terror and intimidation. Meanwhile, a four-member delegation of BJP together with two MLAs visited Dhenkanal on the day. The crew comprised Brahmagiri MLA Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra, his Loisingha counterpart Mukesh Mahaling and celebration vice-presidents Prabhati Parida and Anima Subhadarshan.
