Acute employees scarcity hits teachers in Odisha’s Kendrapara Autonomous College

KENDRAPARA: Resentment is increase amongst college students of Kendrapara Autonomous College (KAC) as acute scarcity of educating employees have disrupted educational exercise since final couple of years. Sources mentioned that 54 out of sanctioned 110 educating posts are mendacity vacant within the 63-year-old faculty for over two years now.

In virtually all 20 departments, over half of sanctioned lecturer posts are mendacity vacant. For occasion, 5 out of 10 educating posts are vacant in Commerce division, three out of six in Botany, 9 out of 14 in English, three out of 4 in History, 4 out of eight in Odia and all 5 posts in Chemistry. 

Most of the vacancies are reportedly because of both retirement or dying of academics. However, college students and guardians have alleged that faculty authorities haven’t been addressing this downside regardless of repeated protests.

Paucity of lecturers has affected the usual of schooling within the faculty, mentioned Dr Basudev Das, an educationist in Kendrapara.
