BHUBANESWAR: A complete of 68.66 per cent college students have handed the Plus II Offline Examinations 2021, the outcomes of which have been declared by the Council of Higher Education (CHSE) Odisha on Saturday.

Announcing the outcomes, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash mentioned a complete 12,321 college students appeared within the exams between October 1 and 11, of whom 8,460 secured move marks.

The minister mentioned 1,211 college students cleared the exams with first division, whereas 964 college students scored second division and 6,251 college students handed in third division. Girls continued to outshine boys within the exams as 67.76 per cent lady college students cleared the examinations, whereas the move share amongst boys remained round 62.71 per cent.

The move share of scholars remained 70.62 per cent in Arts, 64.39 per cent in Science, 68.61 per cent in Commerce and 51.59 per cent in Vocational stream. As many as 6,310 out of 8,935 college students handed the offline exams in Arts, whereas 1,501out of two,331 college students cleared the exams in Science. Similarly, 422 out of a complete 615 college students secured move marks in Commerce, whereas 227 out of 440 college students handed within the Vocational stream.

The college students had opted for the offline exams as they weren’t glad with the choice evaluation technique of the Council in awarding marks within the Annual Plus II Examination 2021 which was scrapped as a result of Covid-19 pandemic.
