1567 New Anganwadi Centres To Come Up In Odisha – OTV News

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha authorities has fastened a goal to arrange as many as 1567 new Anganwadi facilities within the areas reeling below acute little one malnutrition downside.
“The new centers will be established in the tribal-dominated districts worst hit by child malnutrition issues on a priority basis,” stated Women and Child Development Minister Tukuni Sahu whereas answering to a query from BJD Leader Pradip Kumar Amat in the course of the query hour on Saturday.
“The State government has issued order to the concerned district administrations to set up new Anganwadi centers in their areas. A total grant of Rs 7 lakh including  Rs 5 lakh under MNREGS and Rs 2 lakh from the State treasury have been earmarked for setting up these centers. In the urban centers, Collectors have been directed to allot suitable land for setting up these centres,” stated Sahu.
Earlier on February 26, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had launched 5 on-line providers which aimed toward empowering girls and offering higher childcare amenities.
The on-line providers embrace ‘Mo Chhatua’ app for streamlining provide chain administration of ‘Take Home Ration’ (Chhatua) and ‘e-Kalika’, an utility for monitoring kids below three years of age.
‘Mo Sishu portal’, a complete web-based info administration and monitoring system for little one safety providers, and ‘MAMATA App & MIS’ for switch of money profit to pregnant girls have been additionally rolled out.
