Replying to a written query by Congress MLA Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Panchayati Raj and Drinking Water Minister Pradip Kumar Amat stated pipe water connections have been offered to 33,884 out of 47,293 villages of the State. The  authorities has focused to attach all of the villages with piped water by the top of 2024.

 He stated {that a} saturation plan has additionally been ready for Koraput district to supply faucet water to all hamlets and slums by the focused interval.
