12 ft lengthy python rescued in Odisha’s Ganjam

Berhampur: A 12 ft lengthy python was rescued from a home in Ganjam district of Odisha on Tuesday. The reptile was rescued from the courtyard of a home in Gobara village within the district and later was launched into the jungle.
As per experiences, Rajendra Moharana has erected a small poultry farm within the yard of his home. Today morning when he went there to feed the hens he witnessed the massive python.
He instantly alerted the locals and snake helpline members about it. After getting data, Arabinda Muni of Snake Helpline rushed to the spot together with the officers of the Forest division and rescued the snake.
It was discovered to be a python of about 12 ft in size. In the rescue operation Forest official G Venkat Dora, and member of the family of Rajendra Moharana helped. Later, the snake was launched into the forest in a lonely place.
