West Ham supervisor David Moyes smashed the ball in the direction of a ball boy in anger and was handed a crimson card for the act within the second leg of the Europa League semi-final defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Moyes additionally criticised the Eintracht teaching workers for urging the referee to ship off Aaron Cresswell, who was initially proven a yellow card within the nineteenth minute for a problem on Jens Petter Hauge however later dismissed following a VAR test.

“Getting to the semi-final of a cup competition like this is really important,” Moyes added. “It wasn’t too long ago we were fighting relegation. It’s been a great climb and I see no reason that shouldn’t continue.”

West Ham, seventh within the Premier League, journey to already relegated Norwich City on Sunday.
