Watch: National Anthem at Olympics after Neeraj Chopra wins Gold Medal

Neeraj Chopra scripted historical past on the Tokyo Olympics with a Gold Medal end on the finals of Javelin Throw occasion on Saturday. With his medal, India secured the best medal tally at a single Olympics with 7 medals.
Following his win, the Indian National Anthem was performed throughout the presentation of the medals. It was an emotional second for a terrific many, and a second of immense delight.

It was the primary time ever that the Indian National Anthem was performed on the athletics podium on the Olympics.

On Saturday’s finals, Chopra scored a whopping 87.03 meter within the first throw and 87.58 meter within the second. His different throws couldn’t match his feat within the first two rounds however they didn’t must. His second throw was sufficient to received him the Olympic Gold.
Johannes Vetter from Germany, the overwhelming favorite to win, couldn’t handle to qualify for the ultimate eight.
