Swiatek is in Australia to compete within the inaugural version of the United Cup, which is a joint ATP and WTA occasion. The match sees 18 nations in a mixed-team competitors throughout Sydney, Brisbane and Perth from December 29 to January 8.

Each host metropolis will function two teams of three nations, competing in a round-robin format. And every tie will comprise two males’s and two ladies’s singles matches and one combined doubles match to be performed throughout two days. Three metropolis champions will progress to the semi-finals in Sydney, together with the next-best performing workforce from the group stage.

Poland’s Swiatek will play towards Yulia Putintseva of Kazakhstan in her opening match on December 31.
