Tottenham Hotspur head coach Jose Mourinho gave the impression to be unaware of the social media ‘faux pas’ made by the membership’s new official paint provider Dulux, on Thursday.
Dulux began the day by asserting that their new sponsorship that includes their conventional mascot, the previous English sheep canine.
But later the corporate needed to apologise for a collection of social media posts that appeared to mock Tottenham.
One consumer requested if the canine mascot might play centre-back, to which the official Dulux account replied: “He might do a better job.”

Another consumer mentioned Spurs would be capable of retailer “tins of paint in the trophy room for now as we don’t seem to put anything else in there” and the Dulux account replied with a mocked-up advert for an unused trophy cabinet on the market, with the Spurs emblem overlaid on the picture.

The tweets had been subsequently deleted.
“We’re deeply sorry for the posts from Dulux this morning in response to the announcement of our relationships with Spurs,” mentioned the corporate.
“These don’t replicate how proud we’re to be the official paint provider of the membership.
“We’re investigating what happened and apologise to all Spurs fans.” Tottenham responded to Dulux’s apology on Twitter by saying: “We’ll gloss over it this time.”
